Who should attend?

We are encouraging any professional, family member, or citizen who supports youth through the transition process to attend. Together, we can help our youth Aspire, Believe, & Achieve!

We are organizing an event that will offer meaningful learning sessions and networking opportunities for teachers, administrators, family members, counselors, researchers, secondary transition professionals, and employers.

When and where is the conference?

The 2023 VA DCDT Conference will be held at the Hotel Roanoke on March 6 & 7.

The conference will begin on March 6 at 1:00 pm and conclude on March 7 by 3:30 pm.

We are pleased to offer a special Pre-conference, sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education, from 9:00-11:30 am on March 6.

What is the cost?

Registration: $155 + $11.07 (processing fee) = $166.07

Hotel Room: $139 + tax = $157.49 per night

*There will also be an additional fee for overnight parking: $15 for self-parking or $21 for valet parking.

What is included?

Your registration fee will include attendance at multiple keynote presentations, our awards luncheon, poster session, and opportunities to select from multiple high-interest sessions.

Attendees will also be provided with breakfast and lunch on March 7, as well as snacks on both days.
