Nationally, DCDT is a vibrant, active division of CEC, the Council for Exceptional Children.  At the state level, VA DCDT is a dynamic and exciting organization!  There has never been a better time to join VA DCDT, or if you are already a member to get even more involved. 

    Get connected with professional colleagues and see what is happening in Virginia.

Our goals for 2011-12 include the following:
1. Increase subdivision membership by 10%
2. Promote/sponsor multiple professional development activities, including the annual Summer Institute
3. Increase participation of representatives from multiple agency partners
4. Enhance/maintain VA DCDT website
5. Explore ways to increase revenue to support VA DCDT projects
6. Follow-up with proposal process to host DCDT National Conference in 2013
